Blacklick Woods Golf Courses is two challenging courses, one nine-hole course and one 18-hole course. Metro Gold is the 18-hole layout; it has been ranked as one of Greater Ohio's top 10 most difficult public courses. The course is a long hitter's paradise with an interesting variety of holes, including two notable eagle opportunities. There are dramatic elevations, plenty of water, and numerous sand traps throughout. The golf course offers not only a challenging layout and superb conditions, but also an unbelievable landscape. The terrain on both courses have been so carefully preserved that they have both been certified as Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuaries. The 18-hole course is no easy feat but the nine-hole course offers a gentler option for beginners that still has an entertaining mix of par 3s and par 4s.
