Champions Play
Everything about the course itself was great. The pro shop and lady at the snack bar were terrific. They both had smiles to share. The pace of play on the front was right on time but the back was close to 3 hours which is way too slow.. I also noticed a player in a tee shirt and gym shorts. That is not golf attire.
Fantastic Muni
Tees, fairways, greens were great! Bunkers could have been better, but we got slammed with rain recently. Love the course, super fun!
Fun, Challenging Course
The course was in excellent condition. Love that it was challenging yet enjoyable . Will play again
Very good course, new clubhouse, course maintenance could be improved
Course with great design and history. City has taken over and the budget must keep them from robust maintenance. Greens are in good shape. Trees and landscape suffer a bit. Great deal for the $$. New clubhouse as well.
Great golf course
From the clubhouse to the course it was a pleasure to play. Challenging but fair . Would definitely recommend
Meh
Expensive for the value. Pace of play was abysmal. Ranger asked us to play faster, even though we hit into the group in front of us all day.
Nice layout
Challenging and very well laid out. Beautiful course overall excellent.
Muni Gem
Man, what an experience. Amazingly clean facilities, really friendly staff and course is in great shape. Not difficult, which is more fun, and a straight forward test of golf. Would go again anytime. Don't let the surroundings fool you this place is worth it.
Course conditions
Greens are in pretty good condition. Fairways are also pretty good condition (little high) don’t go in the rough, stay away lol!
Well Designed Track
This is a well-designed course and has been maintained well. RTJ Sr. Knew what he was doing of course, so no surprise. What I was surprised by was that there were tee times available at the last minute. It’s in good condition. The rough is pretty thick this time of year.
Stocky
Course and staff were tremendous, Beautiful greens, well manicured fairway and rough. Made you need to keep ball on fairway. Really enjoyed challenge.
