About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Great golf course
This course is one of my favorite places to play. Unfortunately today I got stuck playing behind the slowest foursome of senior citizens that I have ever seen. Remember “that’s a peach hun” from Caddy Shack! It was almost as bad as that couple. Add to that the fact that the course was way overgrown, it made for a long day of golf. A cart girl would have cleaned up today, but unfortunately none came around.

This course is great, especially for the value
Beautiful course, very well laid out. The price is outstanding for the quality as well, one of my favorite courses in central Ohio!

Great place to play
I was worried about Sunday morning golf, figuring it would be at least a five hour round. To my surprise we got around in about 4 hours. It would have been faster had we not had to stop and look for balls in the deep deep rough! Keep in mind this isn’t a US Open course. Cutting the rough closer or more often would be appreciated.

Average.
Central Ohio public golf at its finest. 65+ dollars on a weekend for a 5 hour round and average everything.

Plays long for average hitters
Almost every second shot was 160-180. I’m not a big hitter.

It’s OK
Some challenging holes but the biggest challenge is putting. Very hilly greens. Not long. Weird layout among houses. Be careful with tee times during the week with all seniors. Really slow. Call ahead and ask.
