The Links at Echo Springs
About
Located in Licking County, The Links at Echo Springs sits at the third highest point in the state. The golf course winds through mature hardwood forests and sits adjacent to a winery. At least half of the holes were carefully carved from the dense forests. The course spills across gently undulating terrain, providing a links-style touch to the layout. The rolling, tree-lined fairways are narrow and the large greens are lightning fast. There are also a few double-tiered greens to watch out for. The course's challenges come mostly from the numerous bunkers that are treacherously lurking throughout. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The layout has a fair amount of challenges but it is still gentle enough for beginners to enjoy as well.

Links at Echo Springs
This was our first time playing this course this year. The tee boxes were in bad shape on 80% of the holes. The fairways were almost as long as the rough. The greens were the best part of the course but still had some issues with bare fringe.
Over all we were disappointed as the course wasn't in nearly the great shape as previous trips there the last couple of years. In it's current condition I wouldn't recommend playing there.
Echo Springs
Great course. Great value. Nice practice range. Always in great conditions for play. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to play golf in Central Ohio.
Links at echo Springs
Horrible course conditions. Fairway looked like the rough, so much so that we spent a lot of time LOOKING FOR BALLS IN THE FAIRWAY. The rough was equally horrible and the greens were extremely slow. I know the course us under new management, but come on! This course has so much promise and has always been among our favorites in years past. We have vouchers to use, but not under these conditions.
Dried up course
Played on a Saturday afternoon. I was supposed to be the first one off after an outing, but the outing ran two hours late. I made a bit of a drive to get there so I figured I'd stay. Staff was friendly and apologetic. I finally teed off to quickly find out that they don't water the course. Tee boxes, fairways, greens; everything was very dry. The course layout is nice, but I wouldn't play here during the summer.
This course needs some TLC
We have played this course before and this time the course was not in the best condition. The greens were not consistent. They were either fast or slow. Some of the greens were burned out. Some of the tee boxes needed to be cut. There was no drinking water on the course.
T
Nice golf course and not a bad price at 29$ with a cart. I wish the driving range was open for an 8am tee time but so be it. Greens well kept and bit on slower side. Overall a good golf course.
Painfully slow greens - half bare/half 2” high tee beds
The conditioning on the course may have been the worst I’ve played this year. The greens were painfully slow, not slow, PAINFULLY slow. the tee beds were uneven, half bald, half really high. The greens had more ball marks (not necessarily the clubs fault) than any course should. The hazards/OB were poorly marked.
The routing and overall pace were fine, but the conditioning ruined the round for me unfortunately. Probably wouldn’t return. So many better places in the area.
Sweet T.
Nice course, no sand in traps, horse flies are horrid.
Nice course
Course was in excellent condition. Hardly any wait time at all and the staff were very helpful and accomidating .
Great day
The weather could have been better but overall it was a great place to play. The greens seemed a little slow. Great day
Fun course to play with wildlife scenery!!
I have played here multiple times and I will continue to do so. Super friendly staff, course is always in great shape, and the scenery is fantastic. The course is basically laid out through a woods/wildlife type of setting. You really feel like you have taken yourself out of the hustle and bustle of your daily life to play golf and enjoy nature and sweet golf serenity!!
Saturday morning golf
Pace of play very good for a Saturday. Condition of course wasn’t what I’ve seen before. Lots of weeds in fairways. Greens were fair. Usually this course is better maintained.
Course layout is garbage. A few holes that look like they are thrown in and don’t fit. Too many drives off tee box you don’t know even know where your target is as a first time player. Fairways and tee boxes haven’t been mowed in weeks. It’s understandable because of all the rain lately but at least tell the public your course is in garbage condition and offer specials to play. Wouldn’t go back.
Good value
Great value. They do not recognize golf now reservation.
The staff did give us the deal, but it seemed to be a bigger deal getting checked in than it should have.
Overall. Very nice course, clubhouse and value. I would return.
Wonderful views of of wonderful landscape.
Nice course
The only complaint I had was the bunkers were washed out and compacted due to not being raked. The rest of the course was in good shape.
