This course is great. Excellent condition and well maintained. We played Longaberger a few weeks ago and honestly prefer this course over Longaberger. This place is more playable for the average golfer making it more enjoyable in my opinion. We received a hot deal when we played but would pay full price for this place.

May be the best course in the state. Greens are perfect fairways firm and fast. Beautiful layout in the country, quiet and peaceful. This course needs to be played a few times to really learn it. Worth the drive from anywhere for the day. I drove 2 hours and will be back often.

First time here and I picked up golf again after a decade and half Sabbatical from the sport. It's a great course fairways are generous greens are best I've seen in Columbus area. Despite two holes that could be rebuilt its a great place to golf. When I checked in I was advised to keep your ball on the fairway! He was absoutly accurate lost a few balls with out a chance to recover them. I'll pass on advise given from Don "Keep your ball on the fairway". I rated food 3 stars not because lack of variety the brat and beer was very good. Go play the course most won't be disappointed might reccomend an extra sleeve of balls tho. I will play there again !!!

A definite must play. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. Pace of play was a little slow & course was a little dried out, but otherwise it was a great day. A wonderful design that offers a challenge for players of all levels. I'll leave the 7500 yards from the tips for the young bombers, thank you very much!

The course is beautiful and I was confused on holes numbers 3 mabe it first played there I thinks

This is a fantastic course even though there are 3 holes that need to be redesigned. In addition, the greens were plugged which is early for the area which made them very slow and bumpy.

Bugs bugs and more bugs. Horse flies were horrible around bathrooms. Long round, over 5 hours and no beverage cart. Looks like they have never trimmed the course. Another course that would rather do weddings than accommodate golf.

2nd time at Northstar this season. Compared to first, course very in rough shape with many burned out areas and many areas under repair. Greens were fairly bumpy and slow.

I will not return until conditions improve.

This course is a very challenging course with lots of hazards to contend with. Bunkers and water but makes for a great challenge for the avid golfer.
Remember to pick the right club and don't hit the long ball at all times....you will be in big trouble. Very little room for error on this course. I would also suggest you pick the right tee blocks to play from don't be to hard on yourself by choosing the further tee blocks you will be sorry!!

The round was 6 hours and the pro was very rude. He was under pressure there was a member/guess this day. He told me I could not have a tee time, only after showing a copy of my reservation he changed his tone. His tone was not friendly before it became more friendly but not welcome to Northstar. The only excellent part was the bar staff very friendly and I felt welcome sitting at the bar!!!

Might be slightly overpriced as there's a ton of good golf in the area, but that's really nitpicking. Extremely well kept, very consistent greens, fairways like pool tables. There's some great golf here, and if you play to your index you've played a great round of golf.

One complaint, and it's a HUGE one - they don't offer yardage books. A few holes are borderline unfair without knowing how to play them. There were spots marked with "260 to the rock" and such, but not enough. For $75 a round, at least give me the option to spend another $5 to be fully prepared.

I felt as if Northstar was in excellent condition and is one of the best courses around central Ohio. Don't pass up the chance to play it!

This is probably the best maintained course in the area and is certainly the most challenging.

Had 40 golfers down here on 5/2. First time for most of us. Course was in great shape. Yardage markers for layup shots were helpful. Local knowledge for each hole is needed; will be much better prepared next time. Beautiful layout , greens were great. Only complaint was pin placements- we think the superintendent wasn't in a good mood that morning.

Course had seen really heavy play in the morning and was in great shape when you consider that and the time of year it is. Greens were true and decently fast for April. The back 9 is a real treat. This is a great course, especially if you can snag a discount. Staff was slightly aloof and not the friendliest, but the place was slammed with an outting that had just finished, so I get it.

The course was well maintained. The greens rolled true and the bunkers were some of the best I've played this year. It was challenging, but not overwhelming. Staff was very friendly. I had a great time. First time playing here and will definitely be back.

The course was in as good of shape as you can imagine and the greens were smooth and rolling fast. Very enjoyable course to play.

Golf in good shape towards this late in the year. Staff was great even came out and told me a Hornets nest on the back of #5 was disturbed. It did rain and the course seemed like it didn't drain all to well.

Greens were punched a while ago and rolled very well. There were some pitch marks but nothing bad at all.

For the price I would play here everyday.

The guy working the counter and the Starter were both super awesome. They were very friendly, the starter even drove out to the 1st tee to tell me there were hornets on hole 5. I got soaked on the first hole but the overall experience was amazing. Beautiful beautiful course. Even though i hit a bunker on about every whole they were very upkept and easy to get out of. The greens were divited up pretty bad however the greens were super fast and not impossible to putt on. I will absolutely be going back, when i get another $18 hot deal that is. Two thumbs up!!!
