Oakhaven Golf Club
About
Oakhaven Golf Club's versatile layout appeals to a variety of different tastes and skill levels with two nines that are completely distinct. The front nine is more open with opportunities for both long hitters and precise shot makers to shine while the tighter back nine winds through rolling woodlands with more bunkers coming into play. There are also water hazards that come into play on several holes. In addition to the championship golf course, Oakhaven is also known throughout central Ohio for having some of the best and most expansive practice facilities. The course offers a 50-acre driving range with 33 heated, covered tees and 60 grass tees as well as two practice chipping greens with a sand bunker, a 5,000 square-foot putting green, and an indoor putting facility.

Good course great staff
Course is challenging and the staff is very friendly.
outstanding weather on a very good golf course. great combination
Third time on this course this year. Good shape, except a few areas that have lost grass. Greens had been aerified, but still very puttable.
Glad to have found this course!
I booked a 10:16 tee time through GolfNow.com for $17 as a single. Having never played this course, I was not sure what to expect. I arrived about 20 minutes early and was told that since there were few golfers that morning, I could go to the tee whenever I was ready. The course was immaculate. I would have rated it 5 stars, but holes 2-5 had the tee boxes aerated and the plugs were still on the tee. Had a 4 foot square on the front of each tee clear to play from. If you get a chance to play this course, you had better grab it. Or I will.
The aeratipon process had been done still the greens ran true enough to enjoy.
The fairways were a bit spotty but it is september after all. The greens were in good shape, if aerated, and overall condition was quite good. Play it if you get the chance.
A great time was had by all and would highly recommend course to anyone.
Found the course to be in great shape considering all the rain this year. Found it unnecessary to roll ball in fairway as the fairways were in great condition. Greens very receptive and held shots well. Would prefer faster greens, but found they putted very true. Staff was very friendly and positive, found pricing at the snack bar to excellent and service a lot faster than I remembered. Great Day. Looking forward to coming back.
Good round
This was an excellent value for $12 at noon. I selected the course required attention because several holes have large mud spots on the fairways, but I never seemed hit into any. Aside from the muddy spots, the rest of the course was in great shape. I played solo at noon and breezed through the front 9 in just over an hour...ended up catching some people on the back but rate of play of acceptable. I left around 3:30pm and noticed they had about 40 high school kids getting ready to go off...not sure what days of the week they play, I played on a Wednesday.
This course has great character!
This course has just about everything a golfer would require to say that they had a great golf experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great course and an excellent practice facility.
Solid course
Overall, the greens rolled well and were plenty challenging. Overall, in solid shape other than some areas that clearly hold water when it rains. Back 9 is more tree-lined compared to the front. We played after an outing, and we were told we'd get off later than our tee time as soon as we walked in. They apologized and gave us free drink tickets and free range balls. We were happy with that.
NICE!
Have always enjoyed playing Oakhaven, wide open front 9 then the back nine closes up, fair challenge for all level of golfers.
Nice layout but greens are to slow
Very friendly starter, pro inside not very friendly. Greens were very slow, fairways were 'ok', and tee boxes were below average. The layout is good and there are some fun holes. Many of the greens had changeling slopes.
The course is great for all golfers.
The course is open on the front 9 and tight on the back. The course was very busy for a Friday morning.
fast tricky greens
Fun to play. Very challenging greens with speed and slope.
Nice Old style course with variety of challenges
I enjoy this course since its got the old charm and rather interesting greens. For the first timers, this course is rather challenging since greens can be difficult and layout isn't straight forward. Few blind shots along with severely sloped green can put a havoc on your score but once you get used to it, its a very fun course.
oak haven
Nice greens, challenging, excellent condition. My favorite part of the course. Back nine the best part of the course. Highly recommend.
This course has great features
Course was good condition and very nice course. I like this course.
Great Value
Outstanding practice facility, including unbelievably smooth putting green. Course was great. Tee boxes offers a variety of experiences for any level.
Nice course, nice staff
I really enjoyed this course. Well maintained and fun.
Outstanding course. Will play whenever I get a chance.
I really like this course. Not too easy, but not too hard. Fairways and greens are great. Only complaint is they did not tamp the cups down on the greens and the group missed several puts that turned away at the hole.
Great Value for a public course that resembles a country club
One of the best public courses around central Ohio. They have a large course that features challenging holes with water coming into play almost every other hole. Their driving range and clubhouse are excellent and everything about the course resembles a private country club. I remember how well this course was five years ago when I played it the first time, and nothing has changed. I will drive a half hour out of Columbus to play this course.
