Pleasant Valley Golf Course boasts two courses, an 18-hole executive course and a nine-hole, par-3 course. Lancaster's rolling countryside surrounds the courses, providing scenery and idyllic charm. The Par 3 Course sprawls across hilly terrain that causes tricky uneven lies. The golf course requires a fair amount of accuracy as well as strategy. Water hazards come into play on a few holes. Bunkering is sparse but strategically placed. The nine-hole course is an excellent warm-up for the full-length course but it is also just a great place to brush up on your short game skills. It offers challenges similar to the longer golf course but at a scale that is more approachable for beginners or for a quick, casual round. For the amount of versatility they off, the courses are a great value for the price.
