Raccoon Valley Golf Course
About
Raccoon Valley Golf Course (formerly known as Raccoon International Golf Club) sprawls across gently rolling woodlands, featuring scenic vistas of the surrounding countryside. The course is known for being home to the longest par 5 in the state, the notorious 17th hole. This treacherous hole measures in at a devilish 666 yards that will challenge even the longest hitters. Although the terrain is mostly flat and open, there are some surprisingly dramatic undulations in the greens that will cause tricky uneven lies. There are several lakes that come into play throughout as well as a number of strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the penultimate hole, notable holes at Raccoon Valley include the par-4 eighth, which requires a 220-yard carry, and the 11th, a par 3 that plays over a lake to a two-tiered green guarded by a bunker.

Could be better
For the money I spent, 8 bucks, can’t complain. Fairways are always cut to long as are the greens.
Great value fun course
Just finished a round here with 3 other golfers. After we booked our tee time one of our players looked up the course and saw some very negative comments. We almost cancelled our tee time and player elsewhere.
I am glad we have raccoon international a chance. It was in good shape. And great views.
Some of the greens did have areas on them that were pretty rough, but not all of them and not the entire greens.
Definitely will be back.
Dry, fast play, and great fun!
Considering it's early March in Ohio, the course was in very payable condition.
The course was in good shape. No sand traps anymore but the greens were in decent shape
Farmland Course
Course was in rough shape. Back 9 way better than front and greens clearly not taken care of. Also no sand.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!
Today we drove 45 minutes to play golf with our dad before he left for Florida (where he lives) we finished the front 9 and the employee came out while we were on hole 9 and said here’s your rain check... it wasn’t raining? So we go inside and ask what was wrong he said he was kicking us off because there was a couples league playing..... he then tried to make it seem as if it was our fault that we didn’t finish in 2 hours, then tried to make it seem like we were getting some type of deal by getting a free 9 but we paid for that we said we paid for 18 after the guy yelling at us we left! All I can say is that place is wack not to mention the course looks like a desert! Save your money save the drive because this is not worth it!!!!
Solid layout, Upkeep challenged
I liked this course and tee time are a good value. The course does seem to be suffering a bit for upkeep now as many of the greens are burnt out and some of the fairways are long. Hopefully this improves as the weather cools down. It’s still a good value and the layout is solid.
Even though it’s COVID-19 time
I have played this course many times and today was the worse I’ve ever seen the greens. Spots were burnt out and most of the green we so patchy you have to move your ball to find a good putting line. Hope they fix this because it’s such a nice layout.
