Coyote Run Golf Course
About
Coyote Run Golf Course (formerly known as Rushcreek Golf Course) is a public, nine-hole course located in Thornville, less than an hour from downtown Columbus. The course is not one of the central Ohio area's well known options, but it offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The layout features bentgrass greens and Bermuda grass fairways. Opened in 1974, the landscape has had time to mature providing enhanced scenery and conditions. The golf course is easy to walk, which makes it great for seniors. The layout is player friendly and ideal for beginners but more advanced players can get in some good practice, especially for the price. Golfers looking for a formidable test will want to look elsewhere, but for a quick and affordable round, Coyote Run Golf Course is a good option.

Doesn’t honor tee times. Poor pace of play
Our tee time was at 11 and we didn’t tee off until almost 11:50. Was scolded by the owner after telling him we made a tee time through golfnow and told that maybe if I called I would get on the course sooner next time.
great value for the money ..I have played a lot of courses for way more money that were not in this condition
Solid 9Hole course
Solid 9 hole course in central Ohio routed over mostly flat terrain. There is some land movement at several holes routed along the road.
Worth a play if you want to play a different course, but I would not go out of my way to play.
Good course for the price
First time to this course in many years. It was a pleasant surprise the improvements of this course. For the money to play you can’t go wrong.
Owner VERY BITTER over Golf Now deals !!!!
We have played here a few times and usually get the "Hot Deal" which costs me $25 for 2 players for 9-holes and cart .. i feel it's a fair price for this course.
First off let me say that every time we have been there the lady at the front desk has been very nice to us and treated us great, Thanks
BUT ... a few times the owner has been in the clubhouse and acted like a real rear end! I told the lady "yes we have the golf now special" he was standing there and rolled his eyes and says "another one of those" in a real degrading tone. First off YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE through GolfNow BUT you choose to so why are you wanting to degrade every player who comes to your course with a GolfNow special? It's YOU who ultimately decided to be a part of GolfNow correct? I don't appreciate being treated that way. You also had to make a rude comment to the guy in front of me who used a card and you said "you don't have cash? We have to pay a fee every time someone uses a debit/credit card" ONCE AGAIN this is your choice to have a card reader and accept cards, if you don't want to pay your fee then put a big sign up saying CASH ONLY .. i am sure you don't use cash only every time you go buy something.
Bottom line .. owner should be happy people come play his course period, without any golfers you would not even be there. And again .. if you are so bitter about GolfNow then quit participating each year instead of treating people nasty and saying "i get nothing at all when people book through GolfNow"
We have used GolfNow at many other courses and have NEVER been treated like that NEVER
The lady at front desk .. keep doing what your doing and treating others so friendly, Thanks
Open Weekday Play.Great for beginners
Decent greens but fairways lacking. Farm field turned into golf course. However what it lacked was made up for in charm. Easy and relaxing day with great pace of play and friendly staff.
Staff were great!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Course is nice for the $!
Beginner course
This is a great beginner course out in the country. Not very many people here and is a great course to get a quick 9 hole round in. Fairways are pretty large but have some hazards that make the holes more challenging and fun. The fairway grass is not the greatest with lots of rough patches but this does not faze me for the price. It was only $10 to walk, and they have a special on Fridays where it is only $12 with cart. Friendly staff that even let me play after hours.
nice course
Staff are supper nice and helpful. Great place to take your beginner golf buddies or children i have not had a bad time yet even all other players ive encountered on ther course have been respectful. Over awesome place to me.
Course was nice
Considering the very hot & dry weather we've had over the last 2 to 3 weeks the course was in good condition. The staff was very nice & easy to get along with!
Great cow pasture
You are either hitting off dirt or out of tall grass.
Tee boxes are piles of dirt with little to no sod on most. Some are so slanted it’s like teeing off a hillside. The greens were the only half way decent aspect of the whole place.
