Table Rock Golf Club
About
Table Rock Golf Club stands out from many other courses in Ohio thanks to the abundance of trees. This public course is not the most challenging or scenic, but it is fair test of your skills and it is known for its excellent conditions. The layout has a more open front nine but towards the back of the course is where the abundant trees come into play. The last nine holes are much tighter with narrow fairways bordered by dense forest. Accuracy is a necessity in order to finish well. The 14th and 18th holes are local favorites. Table Rock Golf Club's layout is player friendly enough for beginners but still provides challenges that appeal to more experienced players. There are also five sets of tees to further adjust the game to your skill level.

Not bad
One good thing about Table Rock is that the rates are always pretty good. The layout of this course is great. Pretty tight on the back with some real challenging holes. This course has the potential to be great, but the conditions are just average. The ground is hard and the fairways are burned out in spots. Heard this course is for sale. Hopefully whoever buys it will make it better because this could be a great course. Would probably come back if the price was right even though it is a little bit of a jog from the west side of Columbus.
A favorite.
Although it is twenty-five miles from my home, I am more than willing to drive there because Table Rock's staff, course condition, and scenic setting make it one of the best courses in the area. The very reasonable price is also a big draw. It has earned our "Most favored" rating.
the course was well maintained and a challenge for first time play
enjoyed the course, well maintained, land scaping and flowers were great, back nine was tight and a challenge for first time player here, overall enjoyed it.
Unique course but inattentive staff
They say "no more than four to a group" but when I called the proshop and told them there was a group of seven.....SEVEN, players in front of me they told me they would "talk to them when they make the turn". REALY?!?! Two went home and they continued with a fivesome! Told the front desk and they just stared at me. Disrespectful.
pleasing to eye,friendly,staff,nice course
Very welcoming staff greets you, course is very pleasing to look at with waterfall, many water hazards with fountains, and lots of floral designs. We played the white tees that measures 6200 yds, can play at 7000 from championship tees. Course is pretty open on front side, but back has tight tree lined fairways. Many holes are set up for longer second shots because of the use of water to block the big hitters from wedges all day. Dog legs are used as well for this same purpose. Fairways are only slightly defined by short rough and could use some overseeding, lots of hard pan spots. Greens played well and were receptive to shots.
Great lay out and views.
Great course. Beautiful views. Played here for the second time ever. Worth the money and the short drive. Will be back many more times.
Nice, playable course.
This is a playable course with fairly wide open fairways. Greens can be a challenge--but isn't that why we play golf? The owners must care about the experience--very nice flowers and interesting rock sculptures. The fairway was a bit burnt out but no more than most of the courses I've played the past few weeks. There could have been a starter, especially on a Sunday to pair two-somes as our round took longer than it needed to. My husband and I will definitely go back!
need some way of marking pin depth- red/white/blue
picked up this course for 16 bucks, wasnt sure what to expect as i am from out of town and just wanted to grab 18 holes on my way to newark from akron.
course is in decent condition. holes have nice layout and its somewhat challenging. my biggest gripe is the course does not have red/white/blue flags or some other means to mark whether a pin is in the fromt middle or back of the green.
overall it was a pleasant experience, due in part to the two guys that golfnow'ed that same tee time as me.
THE COURSE NEEDS SOME TIME TO RECOVER FROM ALL THE WATER DAMAGE
WAS NOT HAPPY WHEN I SHOWED UP FOR MY 1:44 TEE TIME AND SEEN 6 TO 8 FOURSOME HEADING TO THE TEE BEFORE ME ASK THE KID BEHIND THE COUNTER WHAT WAS THE DEAL AND HE SAID THEY WERE A GROUP THAT WAS REPLAYING AND I SAID WHAT ABOUT MY TEE TIME AND HE SAID I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT OR TRY TO FIT IN STARTING ON THE BACK NINE
what were they thinking?
Never been so wanted to try it out. Won't go back. Just not worth the drive, especially since u have to pass Bent Tree to get there. Conditions were fine, course is just a pallet of misc places flowers and spots of tall grass. Small ponds but almost none are even close to being in play. A lot of features look to have been there and look out of place. Small rock formations but none at normal yardages. They offer a yardage book for $4. If you play you almost have to get it since yardages are hard to find. Bunkers did have gravel and dirt for sand. Course is for sale too. If you live close and get a good deal its fine I guess.
This course needs help!
Course in extremely poor condition. I will not go back.
Great Course, Very Well Maintained
I thought was one of the nicest coursse I played this year. The distance was a concerned and we were pleasantly surprised it really isn't far and worth the trip. Will definitely play again!
Great staff.
Fairly well maintained with the wet conditions. Good value for price.
good par 3's strong par 5's some open holes, some tight. a good variety
well worth the drive from Columbus. course in great shape. greens were consistant speed.
Bring ALL of your friends here... they will NOT be disappointed!
If you LOVE to see all the special little touches that make a golf course SPECTACULAR, you must take an adventure to Tablerock. You will find so much there... from the flowers, the birdhouses, the rock arrangements, AMEN corner, and a well maintained course that challenges you = and on and on - each hole has so many special touches that make this course a FAVORITE!

This course is in great shape
True greens! they roll better than most of the courses in the area. Course is well maintained and the course allowed for scoring opportunities while challenging with some longer holes as well!
Keep'm straight
Other than the long drive from Columbus, this course is worth it. Open front and tight back. Man I love this course.
good day and good play
We had a great afternoon and the course is in very good shape.
Mix of open front and really tight back makes course fun
Open front 9 lets you get loosened up for the tight, tree-lined back. Course is well-kept and fairways in good shape. Tends to get too dry in late summer and needs more irrigation.
