Timberview Golf Club
About
Timberview Golf Club rolls across a diverse landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The rolling terrain is covered with mature trees, ponds, and creeks. There is a housing development surrounding the golf course, but the houses do not intrude into the game. The layout features seven holes that were carefully carved from the dense forests and fourteen holes with water hazards coming into play. The course has a good balance of player-friendly holes and more challenging holes. The wide fairways are well manicured and the undulating greens are medium in size. In addition to the water and trees, sand fiercely guards the greens on half of the holes. The layout is still gentle enough to appeal to beginners. Timberview also offers two practice putting greens.

If the staff cared...
I've watched this course seriously fall off the map, in terms of care over the last few years. Tee boxes are begging to roll an ankle are tear a knee ligament. Greens are full of dead spots and marks from people hitting wedges off of them, or slamming putters into them, or stabbing the flagstick into them.
The layout is super fun. The people running the joint are super nice. But the course conditions almost make it not worth it, even when you can catch a hot deal for 12 bucks.
Need practice.... on a course? This is the place.
I will start with the positives.
- The Staff: Friendliest staff. Always upbeat and they seem very genuine in their customer service interactions.
- The price: Very difficult to beat... however... you get what you pay for.
The... limitations.
- Aside from mowing the lawn, the course seems to be poorly maintained. The back 9 sand bunkers are non-existent, full of weeds (thus a risk for ticks if you want to attempt to get your ball back)
- Tee markers were completely missing. Divots aren't taken care of and the tee boxes seem like they are absolutely destroyed.
If you're a new golfer or even a 20+ handicapper, this course is fantastic for getting course experience for the price you pay.
could be a great course
omg...was like paying tennis. fairways bare and hard. seems like anything goes here. willd wild west for sure
Good course that isn’t expensive.
Played this course a bunch this summer because you can’t beat the value you pay. As a pretty bad golfer the price is right and the course isn’t that bad other than people not fixing their ball marks on the green.
It is what it is
This course is what it is. Tee boxes are in poor shape and markers were not on a lot of holes. Cart paths are rough. Fairways and greens are average but playable. For $25-30 don’t expect more than that value in todays pricing. Staff was pleasant.
Great for the price
I absolutely loved playing Timberview. Really great for the price!
Timber view golf Marysville a hidden gem!
What a great little hidden gem! Checking in they treat you like family. Just a very reasonably priced, friendly, fun course to play! Thank you!
I'll be back!

Where is the money going
For a $35 dollar round you think you’d be playing a semi decent course. The course design is great, little short but that’s not the issue. Most of the tee boxes haven’t been groomed, the fairways and rough are equal length and height. The greens are not well kept either. At the turn my buddies bought some brats and they were clearly not cooked.
Missing Potential
This club has everything you'd want to see in a golf course. Practice areas. A restaurant/bar. Cart rentals. Friendly staff, etc.
However, the maintenance of the course itself is the only reason I will not return here until there's changes made. The first couple tees are pretty maintained, but the further you go, the worst it gets. The greens at nearly each hole are very ill-maintained. Some don't seem like they are tended too at all. Some of the bunkers aren't even bunkers. They're just a weed collecting circle.
The sprinkler system seems to be way off because the 10th hole's sprinklers started firing off at around 6:20pm.
The layout looks great... it just needs some TLC to get this Marysville course back to its greatness that it used to have according to framed newsletters in the check-in lobby.
