Valley View Golf Club
About
Carved from acres of rolling countryside, Valley View Golf Club blends seamlessly into its surroundings. The scenic setting has led to the club being known simply as "The View" amongst locals. It has been a standby for the area's golfers for more than 55 years. The hilly terrain provides some interesting slopes throughout the golf course. The watered, fairways are generously sized, but they are lined with mature trees so they still demand a fair amount of accuracy. The medium-sized greens are undulating and vary in speed from medium to fast. The golf course has an ideal combination of challenges balanced with more forgiving features that appeals to a variety of different skill levels. Both beginners and more experienced players looking for a casual round will enjoy Valley View Golf Club.

Nice course
A challenging, well maintained course with friendly staff that was a bargin at the discounted rate, give it a try.
Great hidden gem
I am new to playing the courses in the Lancaster area, but have been making my rounds.
When I saw this course was halfway between a couple I had played, but other people in the area hadn't even mentioned it to me, I was hesitant.
It was a great course. It was a slightly wet morning so I wasn't that surprised when I showed up at 8:15 and was the first player out. The next player teed off when I hit about the 5th hole.
No one was on the back 9 when I made my way back there, either.
Fun course
Great greens, although they were firm. Confusing layout. Need some signs to next hole in a few places.If you like hills, this is the place. Will play again.
Nice Course
This course is a good course .Lots of hills ,has some blind fairways,course management helps a lot. Might not be the place for beginners.
Gourse has a great view,
* Good conditions
* Greens in good condition
* Amasing view and landscaping
* Traps well maintained
* Layout somwhat confusing for first timers
Beautiful, challenging course
Love valley view. It's one of my favorite courses in the southeastern Ohio area. For the money, you can't beat it
Some interesting holes
Some interesting holes that look easy from the tee but should cause you to think before hitting
Such better courses around
Front nine may as well have been links. Easy course. Back nine is better. Very backed up on Saturday with no pace. Everyone was waiting.
Beautiful course with great scenery!
This course is in great condition. Can't beat it for the price!
Fun course
The course is short and fast. Lost a few balls until I figured out that balls in fairways rolls a lot further than you think, and balls hit on the greens don't stay on the greens. WOuld recommend playing if you want a nice, fairly open course.
This course has great potential but definitely needs some work
Some of the grass was still dead from last summer as well as on some greens (bare spots). They were also having trouble with sprinklers going on and off throughout the course which i was warned about. One thing I really did not like was how hard the sand in some of the bunkers was and how the bunkers had not been weeded. It was hard to tell if some bunkers were bunkers or whether they were just patches of weeds.
Fun course in great shape.
This was the first time my friend or I played Valley View-the greens were in tip top shape, the yardages well marked, and overall in very good condition. I will return.
Nice course for the price!
I play this course on a semi regular basis...it continues to be in good shape and the greens heve been great this year,
Short but sweet.
Interesting older course with both flat and hilly sections. A few elevated tee boxes make for some good air time on several holes on the back 9. The greens on the front are small, back nine greens are a little larger. Fairways are in good condition as are the greens and tees. My only complaint is that there are too many short (250 to 350 yds) par 4's. The course record is 59 (owned by the local pro). Nice course though, and very friendly staff.
Gorgeous greens, but course needs attention
The club house staff was extremely friendly., but had a problem with the greens staff constantly on top of us mowing. Unfortunately, we believe a couple of my dad's golf balls were even ran over by a rough mower a couple times.
Also, there was no course ranger. We allowed a twosome to tee off ahead of us on the first tee, because they said "they were playing a scramble and would be much faster than us". They only played 1 ball per person off of the tee, but from that point on they play 2 balls/person and were hacks and didn't understand "ready golf". This round took us almost 6 hours, which normally takes 3.5-4 hours.. We could of really used some help from a course ranger.
