Tucked away in the woods, Winding Hollow enjoys a secluded setting of rolling hills and mature woodlands. The golf course is an Arthur Hills design that demands both accuracy and skill. Long fairways and challenging greens characterize the course. There are some tight spots on the course due to the large water hazards. The back nine has more water than the front, most notably on the par-3 12th, but the first few holes are tighter and require more accuracy. Overall, the golf course offers an interesting variety of holes from tight doglegs to open holes accented by water. Opened in 1991, the course looks and feels much more mature than it is. Although some impressive private clubs sit just steps from Winding Hollow, it is able to hold its own as an affordable public course.
