Nice, but be ready.
Winding Hollow is a really nice course, not long but, if you can't keep your ball in the fairway you are going to have a challenging day. The majority of holes are tree-lined and the rough can be dense.
I have played here a number of times and if you like a course with no houses on it, only trees, grass and nature - great place to play.
Leans a bit towards the expensive side for my tastes but, a great course overall.
Can't wait to go back!
Loved this course. It had rained for several days, so it the course was soaked. This course doesn't drain well either, but I didn't care. The fairways were perfect! The greens were fast, but the people playing the course obviously never fix their ball marks on them! That was disappointing, but I can't wait to go there again when the course has dried out.
Very nice for a public course. Friendly staff and good food. Sit on the big patio after your round it's really nice.
Regular greens fees here are pretty expensive for the budget conscious golfer. However the course is so nice it's worth the money for a special treat. Golfnow prices are the way to go if you can find a deal that works for you. Also we played after 2 weeks of heavy rain. And the course was in great shape it had drained very well.

There is so much nice things to say about Winding Hollow. Great course that nobody knows about! Would recommend it to anyone. Greens are flat, fairways are lined with trees. That is really all i have to say. Couple of water holes on the course as well. Used to be a private course that is now a public one.
The course is an excellent layout
We played the blue tees at 6300+ yards. It was an excellent challenge. The greens and fairways were well maintained and in fine condition. We made the turn in 2 hours but it took 2.5 hours to finish. Players need to be aware that there is no drinking water on the golf course. The staff did not inform us of this when we went through the check in process.
Excellent public course
Excellent public course just minutes from New Albany off 161. There are no houses surrounding the course so it feels like you are in the country. The course conditions have improved from previous years and now is well maintained. I enjoy this course.
Beautiful course
I will be back when I'm playing better. Learning to improve and manage speed control.

Fantastic track
Very tight and demanding course. You not only need to be accurate off the tee but the approach shots are well guarded and challenging. There are several tees and you should choose one shorter than you normally would in order to shorten your approach shots and allow you to use less than driver off of some of the tees that are tight. Conditions are good for public but not up to private standards on the greens.

Great course with coutry club feel.
Want a country club feel at a public course, this it! Fairways clean and ball sits up nicely. Greens beautifully cut and with some good undulations. If they were to double cut, lookout, today they were good speed. Tons of traps seemingly on every hole very well maintained. ALL staff were extremely friendly and if this course were closer (I drove from Cleveland), it would be on my radar a lot. Beautiful clubhouse look coming in on 18..Kevin
Great Public Course
This course was excellent condition. The fairways and greens were very well maintained. The course makes you feel like your playing it all to your self.
Course has a couple of challenging water holes along with long par 4 holes
Course is well maintained especially fairways but there were several greens covered with debris from trees and greens were not cut or rolled to provide challenging putting.

excellent for the price
The layout of the course is amazing! The Greens had been a aerated, so they were a little bumpy. Not unplayable though.1 annoying thing is that they do not allow you to take the golf cart out to your car to load and unload your clubs.
Challenging Layout
You must be able to shape your tee shots on this course. They had just aerated 6 days before we played so the greens left a little to be desired, but that is only temporary. Overall it is a interesting couse that will give you different challanges everytiem you play it.

From the staff to the course, was an awesome experience.
Great course design, was really wet but that's to be understood since it rained several days before we played.
