Marysville Golf Club
About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Wow
Great course for $25! Very challenging greens. Would recommend playing here. Only downside is most golf carts have rips in the seats.
Spring break
Breezy chilly day, until the sun popped out on the back nine. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The cart paths aren't in the best of shape due to the pot holes and dips, but cart paths are not my main concern when it comes to playing golf. Great green fees'
Great place!
Over the last 3 years I've played this course with friends. We've all noticed a steady incline in quality both on the course and in the clubhouse. You can definitely tell the owners care about the course and the experience of the golfer. More recently they have put a simulator inside. Last year the renovated the clubhouse a bit. The effort has been noticed and appreciated. I will continue to play and enjoy the course and clubhouse more this year
Not a good first impression.
I understand that’s it’s still very early in the golfing season and I’m more than grateful for the opportunity to play in March, but with that said there really is no “early in the season” excuse for lousy facility conditions, unfriendly staff and horrible carts. I don’t know if maybe there are growing pains or changes being made but the entire place was disheveled inside and out. It reeked of urine inside the pro shop to the point of being nauseating. I Won’t be back to say the least and somehow I feel as though if all patrons felt the same the staff would be perfectly happy with that lol.
Stole a day from March
The course was very wet, cart path only, understanbly…. The cart paths were very wet and muddy as well. The course was in decent shape and you can see where the new owners are making improvements.
It was cart path only because of previous day’s rain which impacted pace of play and course conditions. It’s a nicely designed golf course.
Nice Course, Wish there was more hazards.
Great time! Had loads of laughs and the people infront and behind were super friendly. The staff at the club house were super helpful and every was super. Just wish there was some more hazards/Bends/Harder
Best in Marysville?!
I'd say the only course in the immediate Marysville area that can probably top the Marysville Golf Course is the Darby Creek course (and I'm only speaking about their front 9 - and this is definitely because of bias of my love for Links courses).
Marysville is a very fun, yet challenging course. Their Hole 2 - Par 3 is (in my opinion) the most difficult hole on the course aside from the Hole 7 - Par 5 and it's because those two greens are particularly challenging as heck!
The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, especially when they deal with GolfPass/GolfID issues.
The food is good, the drinks are priced okay, and they do offer an indoor simulator! If you're a newer golfer and want to play a quality, yet affordable course, hit up marysville GC :)
Great conditions, especially greens
This course just keeps getting better and better. New owner, and putting money back into course, clubhouse, and all new carts next year! I recommend this course.
jmcgee84, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Marysville Golf Club.
slick greens & blowing leaves
Over all, the course was in great condition, the greens were very very fast with slopes (no level putts) which made the play very challenging (a lot of three putts), there were tough pin placements on every green. But it was great to get outdoors and the high scores were acceptable.
PoppyD, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Marysville Golf Club.
OldTimers Play
it was a pleasant surprise on how great the course condition was, the fairways were as good as you would want and the greens were smooth and fairly fast, definitely not slow. It was only my second visit here and I'm sure we will visit again.

Have no complaints about the course. Fairways and greens were in great shape, even for this late in the season.
