Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Chapel Hill Golf Course
Fun time. People were nice. Course was in good shape for early in the year. I'd definitely go back and play it again.
This is the second time.
It opened after a long time, so I went there.
This course is one of my favorites.
The reason is that strategy is required to capture the course.
Today's score was 40-43.
Beautiful design, great condition
This was my first time playing the course. Great layout with plenty of rolling hills which you don’t get much of in Ohio. Loved the golf course, fairways and greens were in great condition. Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely return!
Just an amazing place!!
Gonna keep it short and sweet! One of the best courses around!! All around perfection!! Everyone I talked to was very friendly!
1st Time at Chapel Hill
Well, I finally broke 100. On a tough course too. A 43 on the back 9 was no piece of cake. The course is very hilly and scenic, and was in great condition. It was worth the drive from Columbus. However, the pace of play for a Saturday morning was pretty slow. It took us about 3 hours to get through the front 9 as we were behind a younger couple learning to play. The back 9 went much faster as a few groups left after the front 9. This is NOT a course to take your beginner friends, yet it seems like a lot of people in the area do anyways, according to some of the locals. Too many jams at tee boxes and greens because foursomes are playing faster than pairings. They could really benefit from a ranger, but oh well, it's public golf. I'll play this course again on a weekday. Hopefully there's no wait at every tee next time. I'd still recommend you give it a shot, as it's a great track with a neat clubhouse.
Beautiful course
Amazing rolling hills layout with beautiful views and scenery. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very quiet course as well. Only issue we had was the pace of play on the front 9. terrible. This is not a course where you should learn to play golf, nor should you bring anyone that can't hit their ball off the tee. I think we were backed up 4-5 holes because of a twosome learning to play. I would've liked a Marshall to enforce pace of play, other than than that, it's a great course and I'd recommend playing a round outside of a Saturday, or anywhere when it's less busy Will play this course again, albeit another day of the week.
Great computer/GPS system.
Great exoerience. When weather is better & foilage comes in. The course will be amazing. Definitely playing again.
Best course outside of Columbus
I really enjoyed this course and the staff were extremely friendly.
Challenging
Greens were well maintained and extremely fast. I did lose 3 balls today but the leaves were bad.
Great course
Just a very nice course well taken care of and friendly staff. Nice place to spend and nice afternoon!
Fun round
The new golf carts did not have the gps set up yet, which was a little disappointing. Pace was slow but the course was full, so was to be expected. Condition was good and the layout is one of favorite.
Very disappointed today. After playing the front 9 we stopped in the clubhouse & the gentleman told us we needed to speed up a little. The course, (fairways) were covered with leaves & we had a hard time finding our balls due to that. We had a foursome & it took us 2 hrs to play the front 9 so on the back 9 we were not able to relax & enjoy our game, we will not be going back.
Rain out
Call your office yesterday evening(Wednesday the 28th)knowing that’s 2-3” of rain was coming but you stated I needed to call the day of the round for cancellation,so I called today but because it’s been raining for more than 11hours there was nobody at the course to answer the phone,,so now I must call you again tomorrow to receive the cancellation confirmation,I guess the phones could be down “due to the weather “ but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t play a around in a downpour, don’t most guys do that,Right..The phone calls have become overkill for something we knew was coming thanks to Hurricane Zeta maybe you guys haven’t heard about that one & getting a questionnaire just poured salt in the wound.Talk to you tomorrow, thanks for keeping up.
