Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Great hilly course
My wife and I live in Columbus Ohio where most courses are flat. We wanted to play a course with hills, mainly for the experience for when we play our brother in-laws courses in PA. Chapel Hill did not disappoint! It is a very nice, well maintained course with lots of undulation. The layout is very nice and the views are beautiful. We especially liked the back nine. Will definitely go back.
Chapel hill was heating up
I a great afternoon at CH. took the opportunity of a good golfnow $ and playing with an old friend at his home course. The course was in great shape. Some of the traps were barely playable, but could still be played. Have heard the greens were a little slow but seemed just fine for me. You need to pay attention to the course layout on the scorecard, there are some creeks that come into play but are blind from the tee. We played in 90* temps.
Blown Away
Absolutely unbelievable course for the money. A little drive from north side of Columbus but well worth it. Pace of play was great, GPS in the carts, friendly staff, course was in great shape and honestly fairly challenging/unique without ever feeling frustrated.
Can't believe it's taken me this long to play here but will be back.
Golf Now is disappointing
Chapel Hill is a beauty course. Using this venue to express my frustration with Golf Now since they offer zero opportunity to send them a message.
1st experience with Golf Now. Last experience with Golf Now. What a disappointment.
Course let’s 5 players in a group
The pro let a group of 5 players tee off the back just minutes before we made the turn. Group would not allow us to play through we phoned shop and they were rude and just said pick up and play ahead. Go back later.
Would not recommend you play there unless you are a group of 5 then you’ll get better treatment.
Great course
Played this on a Tuesday afternoon. Very few people on the course, so could play at our own pace. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Fairways are wide and the greens are large, which is perfect for a semi-hacker like me. And the rolling hills make for some fun holes. Will definitely play again soon!
