Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Great course with GPS
This course is in great condition for March in Ohio. Mowed greens are rolling nice! Well maintained layout.
Chapel Hill GC
I love this course. It was in pretty good shape. Greens had recently been aerated. A little pricy for this time of year, but it was an enjoyable round of golf with friends.
A Great October Round
This is a terrific course. The layout is fair but challenging. The greens were in good shape. The range is pretty decent. The only drawback was the pace of play because it was 75 degrees so a lot of people wanted to play on this day. The GOS carts helps with pace of play. But there were still some avoidable log jabs. A roving marshal could have helped.
Terrible mistreatment
After driving over an hour, My group of 4 showed up for our 2:36 tee time at 2:00. We check in and are told there’s no delays and we’re next up on the tee box so we can take our time. Great. We’re on the putting green and at 2:15, a group of 12 PEOPLE drive up to the tee box. We asked what was happening, and were informed that these people were given priority because they’re playing an all inclusive deal and we’d have to wait for all of them to tee off, then continue to play behind them for the afternoon. There were so many opportunities for the course staff to make this right, such as give us a heads up to get to the tee box early, or send us out on the back 9, but no solution was given. Not the first time I’ve had an issue with the staff here, seems like they don’t value you just your money. I’ll never go back and always discourage others from spending their money here.
Play Ended after 11
Sorry, I have acknowledge it was not a great day for us seniors, but not due to the course. The course was crowded or packed. We stopped after the 11th hole due to a medical emergency. One of our senior golfers was having a mental disorder due to low blood pressure and dehydration. He struggled through several holes and eventually passed out on the 8th green. He recovered and he insisted that he's okay and didn't want to quit. So he seemed normal until the 11th green and he collapsed again. We took him home and his wife then took him to a medical facility where he was diagnosed with very low blood pressure and dehydration. It was scary golf day for us seniors.
Love this course!
Played on Saturday afternoon. Course wasn't that busy. You're not going to find many courses in the area at this price with these types of conditions. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in great condition.
