Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Course was in GREAT shape for the time of year. Drought over the last month, left the course a little dry and hard, but the fairways and greens were actually still fantastic. Just had to account for the extra rolls (not gonna complain about the extra rolls off the tee!) Course layout is super fun, with elevation changes and hazards placed in tricky places. Even with the drought, it's easy to see why this is one of the best public courses in the state. Worth the drive from Columbus, will absolutely play again!
Great staff, great course, great clubhouse!! Some challenging and unique holes that weren't too easy or too hard. I will no doubt be back!
Great value, super fun course.
The course, whilst short, was challenging and very fun to play. Every hole was quite different and required solid course management to score. Extremely well kept greens , fairways and bunkers, and was gorgeous in general. Management was very friendly and helpful, and seemed to have good amenities off course as well. Will absolutely take the long drive to return to play this gem again. An excellent value!
Excellent groundskeeping
As a woman, I always enjoy golfing here when the flowers are in full bloom. The course is well kept. Greens were in great condition.
Always great
Love this place. Always in great condition. Very well priced and the staff is friendly
Challenging Course
Great course for $40 on a Friday afternoon. Lots of hills. Bunkers had a lot of rocks in them. Fairway conditions were subpar but that could be due to lack of rain/recent weather conditions. Greens were really nice and ran extremely quick. Overall this course is great for the value. Definitely worth checking out.
Great Course, Busy Monday
The course is in good shape, we got caught up 3 groups back by the 7th hole which was frustrating. Only finished 12 holes as a result.
The driving range was closed, we wanted to hit some balls before, but didn’t know that. So we had to wait 2 hours before our tee time with little to do.
Beautiful day, beautiful course otherwise. Front 9 is a challenge. Would recommend playing.
Beautiful setting
For a public golf course this is a five star.Very scenic golf course with nice elevation changes ..45 minute drive from Worthington but well worth the drive.
Great hilly course
My wife and I live in Columbus Ohio where most courses are flat. We wanted to play a course with hills, mainly for the experience for when we play our brother in-laws courses in PA. Chapel Hill did not disappoint! It is a very nice, well maintained course with lots of undulation. The layout is very nice and the views are beautiful. We especially liked the back nine. Will definitely go back.
