Marysville Golf Club
About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Overpriced
Decent course and layout. Used to love playing this place on a budget but at $40 a round it’s not worth it. Spend $10-$15 extra and play a nice course.
Great for the money
Course was in good shape. Not many out golfing the day I was there made for a quick round. A couple of the holes have a severe dogleg. Used a hot deal along with a discount and this was one of my cheapest rounds ever.
It’s a fun track off the beaten path in Marysville. The fairways, rough and greens are in good condition. The bunkers certainly need some work, but that’s the norm now for a public course. It isn’t the most difficult course, but there are a couple of quirky Par 4’s with a severe dogleg that are risk/reward off the tee. For the price, it was worth the trip.
Great for the money, but overbooked
Understand they are a small family course, so $$$ is always needed. That said, it took 3 hrs to get through 9 holes and I didn’t want to make it a 6hr round so I called it quits at the turn and let the course keep all of my money. I’ll revisit after work during the week, wouldn’t recommend for the weekend unless you don’t care how long it will take.
Great Features, Clubhouse not so much
Loved the course. Fairways in good condition, greens as well. The layout was a lot of fun and would recommend anyone to come hit a round. The Clubhouse was not good, definitely a sewage smell throughout that made wanting any food or to use the bathroom a hard no.
Good value.
No driving range. Clubhouse short on staff but did well considering only 1 person running proshop and kitchen at the same time. Greens could be quicker but not bad. Greens could role smoother but not bad. Fairways nice. Tough pin positioning on a couple holes.
This is a value only play
You won't come here because you absolutely love this course. There's plenty of areas that aren't taken care of. Bunkers are unplayable. Greens are incredibly slow and difficult to read. Tee boxes are far from level. That said, you won't pay much to play here (sub $thirty w/cart), so use this course for what it is. A place for you to work on your swing and to learn how to play in general. Don't expect to come here as a low handicapper and have a great time. Come here as a mid-tier handicapper with thoughts of improving and executing course etiquette.
For the locals...fix your ball marks.
Great Value and Good Greens
Greens were in great condition. Good layout and overall excellent value.
Great Value Course
This course has had its ups and downs throughout the years, but it has always been a good value. Right now, it is a great value because the course is in such good condition. The greens are very solid and the entire course is very well taken care of. The cart paths are beaten up, but that is not a huge factor. The staff is very chill, making the entire course vibe to be very casual, which is how I like it. The course has a fun layout with several unique holes. Overall, my three friends and I had a wonderful time golfing here, and the price makes this course a great value!
Good
Course in good shape for being so early in the season. We were able to start on time and pace of play wasn’t too bad. Overall, very good value and course staff were really nice.
