The Ridge Golf & Gardens
About
The rolling countryside occupied by The Ridge Golf & Gardens (formerly known as Buck Ridge Golf Course) provides an ideal landscape for a round of golf. The nearby farmhouses add to the course's rustic appeal. The layout closely follows the natural contours of the land and trees, ponds, and landscaping were tactfully added to blend seamlessly with the natural terrain. There are a total of five ponds, which come into play on eight holes. A number of bunkers are strategically placed around the large greens and there are also rough areas to watch out for. Although the golf course is relatively young, the skillful use of the mature trees makes it seem as though it has been around much longer. The eighth hole, the layout's longest par 3, is one of the toughest. It plays directly over water to the right side of the green. Before playing The Ridge Golf & Gardens, golfers can warm up on the large practice green.

Cant wait to play this course in full season
Front nine is very challenging, doglegs cut fairways hidden hazards. back nine offers a chance to get your score back, Only reason i did not rate this course higher is due to being April, and not yet in top shape. Very fun course to play, and its like a good movie ,you have to go back to enjoy all this course has to offer, because your first trip will be learning it, so take notes.
I had never played this course before. I wasn't sure what the experience would be like. It was a good time despite the wind and temperature.
It is mostly a wide open course with few trees; so when it is windy, it is really windy! The water on the front nine make it more interesting. I will definitely play this course again, but I plan on doing it when I know the temperature will be warmer and less windy.
Great value for the money
This course has well maintained fairways, greens, and even bunkers. The rough was a bit "rough" but you're not supposed to play from there anyway. It's definitely worth a visit.
Great value for the money
Nice rolling terrain. Fairways in good shape. Greens were in great shape, have nice undulations and rolled great. Bunkers need some work. Not overly long but course is enjoyable to play.
Cant beat the Value.
Played this course for 11 bucks. Can't beat that. One of the nicer courses in Marysville in my opinion. Much better than Marysville or Timberview. Nice layout with fairways and greens in good shape for the most part. Greens are sneaky fast. Only negatives would be the ground was a little hard due to lack of watering and the bunkers were not in good shape. For 11 dollars though, you cant really complain too much.
Hit the ball straight.
the bunkers needed a little work, sand was hard, greens were fast, overall a nice place to play.
Better bring your putting game!
Relatively short course but with many doglegs which challenges your tee shot. With the bentgrass greens and really none of them flat your putting game needs to be on. I definitely want to play it again.
Very Good Condition for middle of summer
The course is well maintained, ball marks unrepaired from previous players. Staff very friendly and they don't rip you on the beverages like most courses.
Let-er rip
Young course, trees are still small which makes it pretty wide open. It was fun because you couldn't get in too much trouble. Bunkers were not well maintained due to all the rain but one could still play out of them. We played on a Sunday morning and never had to wait on the tees.
Beginners and veterans
Easy enough play that beginners would enjoy, but yet challenging enough for the veteran player to like. The wide fairways make for easier play, where you have to keep trees and doglegs in mind.
The course was fun.
The course was fun. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Bunkers were awful. Mud traps. Stay away from the bunkers and you will have a fun day.
pretty wide open, but you can get into trouble
a nice course still coming into its own. well worth the drive from Columbus. holes 4-6 are challenging. par 5's are reachable if you find fairway. you can stray from fairways and still be able to move forward on most holes. overall, a nice course from sart to finish.
Okay time
The course was in okay shape. The greens were in the worst condition mainly because players were not repairing their ball marks. The biggest issue I had was the staff was jamming people on the tee box. Our tee time was pushed back 25 minutes because the course was telling walk-ins to just go tee off. A few times there was a 2-some followed by another 2-some instead of having them paired together.
Great rates and fun course
This course is really fun, especially the front 9. There are also great rates everyday. Since the price is low, that means that there are a lot of people on the course. This course would do well to have a ranger to speed up slower groups and to manage the flow.
Great course
Very challenging layout. Greens hold nice & putt true.
This course is wide open layout and offers a minimum challenge.
They need to cut and roll greens to provide true lie and slope.
Feel good golf course
Great bent grass course to play always in good shape and is very fun to play
nice layout, very good price
Hadnt played here for at least 2 years, it is in much better condition now , greens were in great shape and is much more playable with the heather cut down, I will be back
Nice Course for the money
Very good value. Some interesting holes and excellent green conditions. Rough is still patchy from last years drought, so stay in the fairway or agree to improve your lie to something more fair. Pace of play seemed slow, but we ended up 4 hours/10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon.
