The Links at Echo Springs
About
Located in Licking County, The Links at Echo Springs sits at the third highest point in the state. The golf course winds through mature hardwood forests and sits adjacent to a winery. At least half of the holes were carefully carved from the dense forests. The course spills across gently undulating terrain, providing a links-style touch to the layout. The rolling, tree-lined fairways are narrow and the large greens are lightning fast. There are also a few double-tiered greens to watch out for. The course's challenges come mostly from the numerous bunkers that are treacherously lurking throughout. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The layout has a fair amount of challenges but it is still gentle enough for beginners to enjoy as well.

Very low pressure round at echo springs
Relatively short course, provided that your driver is behaving. Greens are deceptively quick. Very short for female golfers, at 4,400 yards.
Would not have known of this course, without golfnow
Great links course for the money
We found Links at Echo Springs to be moderately challenging. Basic club usage, with very little ball positioning. Greens are in good condition. We were able to get the feel early for speed. They also read easy.
One hole on the back 9 called for a choice of an upper fairway, which demands an accurate tee shot and a lower fairway that is open. Another on the back 9 calls for an iron off of the tee with an elevated green surrounded by water and sand. Tough second shot. It's one of those that I would like to come back and play now that I know what I know.
I will be back soon...
Excellent layout
Good mixture of long and short par fours and a couple of reachable par 5s. Course was in very good condition and has excellent practice facilities.
Very nice course. Clean, fairways maintained.
I was impressed with the course. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were in great shape. Mowed
Great Course
I have played the Links at Echo Springs around 6 times this year and the course is in great shape. Greens are a little slower than they appear but very well maintained. Several challenging holes and a few that are pretty easy - a great place to play.
Highly recommend the course as one of the best in Central Ohio.
Terrific links course
Beautiful course in excellent condition. The front nine is more like a standard course versus links style as it meanders through a wooded section. The back nine is more of a traditional links style course with a couple tree lined holes with a deep ravine guarding the greens ( Par 4 and Par 3). Greens were in great condition. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition.
One of columbus area nicest courses. Very friendly staff and great prices. Very nice.

rainy day
Played the course on a rainy day so there was no one really there to slow down the pace. The greens and fairways are in great to excellent condition when I was there in April. I would definitely play this course again. Fun links style course with a lot of challenging drives which from tee hole direction can be somewhat misleading awesome design it not walk in the park but you can definitely score there if you are on your game!!
